End of Attack on Titan 【Theory】
At the end Eren will wake up realizing it was all a dream
When SnK manga became more popular Isayama Hajime changed the original ending (which was everyone to die). Mere seconds before Eren wakes up in episode 1 we see members of the Survey Corps lying around dead.Right after that we see Eren dead with a bee on the corner of his eye. This scene is probably the ending SnK was going to have before the change.Even if more characters are spared from death the dream concept probably won’t be changed.
Also in his dream we see the Smiling titan lifting up Eren’s mother from the remaining ruins of the house before eating her which already happened in the end of episode 1.
Armin will be the last survivor
In the second opening we see candles that get blown away and only one is left burning.The extinguished candles symbolise death, which means only one character will be left alive and this will be Armin because he is immune from death due to being the narrator.
